I was born and raised in Oregon, surrounded by hippies, loggers, and artists. I was also fortunate to study Spanish in school and study abroad in South America.
I now work with media assets in production and operations at agencies, publications, and NGOs. My interests include helping organizations solve problems with practical and innovative information systems. Those systems range from different ways of organizing traditional media to digital applications that store many terabytes of media files.
My personal photography projects document human interaction with the physical world. Photographs are occasionally published and exhibited.
I have degrees from the Geography department and Information School at the University of Washington.
