Debt Crisis

The mood was somber during the few weeks surrounding the bailout in Athens, Greece in 2012. I could try to recount the statistics about unemployment, suicide, and corruption. What I do remember is watching the tension rise in the days leading up to March 8th, then seeing the pressure dissipate after the creditors accepted lower interest rates. The political dynamics were fascinating, as the various parties jockeyed for control and attributed blame.
